Description
ADR stands for "European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road."
It is an agreement that aims to ensure that dangerous goods, such as chemicals and other hazardous substances, are transported in a safe manner to minimize the risks associated with these transports.
Definition of Done:
Set up and configure ASTRO and other systems to be ready to handle ADR printing. LC to set up and adjust process to handle ADR in new way.
ADR contains specific regulations about:
Classification of dangerous goods.
Packaging and container requirements.
Marking and labeling of packages and vehicles.
Transportation documentation that needs to accompany the goods.
Training requirements for the people involved in the transportation of dangerous goods.
Operational procedures, including loading, unloading, and handling of incidents.
