Employees (9) currently work with a relatively simple but functional setup:
Laptops, dual monitors, mobile phones.
The equipment is close to Ahlsell’s standard, which will allow for smooth harmonization going forward.
Core Systems & Business Support
Business‑critical system:
Pyramid ERP (Business Studio) – the core for the company’s business processes.
Supporting systems:
Microsoft 365 – documents, email, and collaboration
Visio Plan 2 – drawings and visualization
Production & Work Processes
Several processes are 'manual and file‑based', which means both simplicity and potential for improvement:
Work orders are created in Word
Quality control is done in Excel
Drawings are made in Visio Plan 2
This provides a clear opportunity to digitalize and standardize according to Ahlsell’s process framework.
IT Architecture & Operations
ERP is operated by an external partner (Devisum), other file handling is done in OneDrive
No local servers
No documented technical roadmap exists → provides freedom to shape the future structure according to Ahlsell’s model.
Integrations & Databases
A project database exists but is a classical file/folder structure
Peppol/eInvoice capability is in place. They already invoice Ahlsell in e‑invoice format.
Limited documentation around integrations → needs deeper assessment ahead of technical onboarding and data mapping.
