Shelf Allocation via Ace for store personnel

The feature is released in all countries and have been received well by the users. Number of items that have been changed since launch:

Sweden: 28 149, Norway: 3 324, Finland2 624, Prevex 804.

This ticket should be closed within shortly and a new ticket created if we want any enhancements.

The feature to be able to change shelf allocations by means of Ace is desired by store personnel in all countries.

Today, this is done in different ways, dependning on access to Vivaldi routines and “old habits”. Some stores use a Zebra scanner to scan items, download the item numbers in an Excel sheet. They note old and new location and add the new locations in Vivaldi. Alternatively, they send the Excel sheet to a person to “batch it” into Vivaldi.

Why do we do this?

• In the longer run, when all stores are up to date with correct allocations, this can be posted on the web and in the app for the customers so that they can find items more easily.

• With correct locations, stocktaking from list could be made easier and less time consuming when stoe personnel can find items to stocktake in the right order.

• If/when we launch Click & Collect and for picking lists, the items to be picked can be presented in the right order.

Plan for Shelf Allocation

• Perform an MVP/pilot in all countries. Follow up and make necessary changes. Update: the feature is running in about 10 stores in SE, FI and NO. It has been received extremely well. E.g a side of a ship can med scanned in seconds. A few minor UX-additions will be made.

• Release version 1 to all stores in the Nordics. This will be released to all Nordics 2024-02-02

• Add the possibility to scan a barcode/QR-code identifying placed on the actual shelf.
