Background and Purpose

What is the current situation? How does the project address it?

The purpose of the project is to establish a common solution for product data conversion. In our tendering process, both within Industry and Installation, we need system support to:

• Identify products based on descriptions in tender/offer material in our own database and through external searches

• Find 1:1 conversions of products

• Suggest alternative products based on different scenarios

The main reasons are time savings and quality assurance. It is also a key factor for differentiating ourselves and, in the long term, winning more tenders.

Main Deliverables

What will the project deliver?

• Prepare a requirements specification and send it to potential suppliers, including CPC, PriceFx, Alpha Solutions – also investigate SAP S/4HANA options and the Swedish Vivaldi solution

• Validate offers from relevant suppliers

• Development/setup of the solution

• Integration with relevant systems
