Implement EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) Compliance Framework

What:

Prepare and implement processes and systems to comply with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). This includes due diligence, traceability, data collection from suppliers (including geolocation of production), and reporting procedures. The exact technical and operational setup in our environment is still being defined.

Why:

The EUDR enters into force on 1 January 2026, with a six-month grace period before audits and enforcement begin. Compliance will be mandatory for all distributors handling covered commodities. Implementing a structured approach early ensures we meet legal obligations, avoid supply interruptions, and mitigate financial and reputational risks.
