Current situation:
Purchase of Computers / Mobile phones / Accessories partly manual and varies per country
Large backlog of old PCs (2700, 5-8 years) / Mobile Phones - security risk
Many items are never returned – security and sustainability risk
Admin process manual and time consuming. Yearly we handle approx. 4 600 invoices from Telia and 2 600 invoices from Atea
Inventory management process is very time consuming for Finance and all leaders in Ahlsell when done yearly
Dependent on HW suppliers web shop (E.g. Telia, ATEA, Dustin etc.)
Definition of Done:
Enabling fast, safe and sustainable computers and mobile phones to all employees
… with efficient processes for Employees, Managers and Central support
… with a lower/same total cost as today
Automated withdrawal process after leasing period to avoid loss of equipment and secure sustainable handling
Ownership of device is placed outside Ahlsell = high incentive to take back equipment to make money
Renewal of equipment every 36-48 months will reduce central support and avoid security risks
Information is delated for old equipment before re-sale or recycling to avoid information getting in wrong hands
Predictable cost over time makes it easier for renewal
The same process and suppliers for all Nordic countries
