Need for a controlled process for the creation and troubleshooting of various integration solutions with customer systems, such as EDI and PunchOut, to reduce processing time.
Description
To ensure efficient and reliable integration with customer systems (EDI, PunchOut, EHF invoices, and EHF catalogs), a controlled and structured process is required for both creation and troubleshooting. The current manual approach leads to inefficiencies, inconsistent execution, and prolonged resolution times.
By implementing a standardized and automated workflow, we aim to:
Streamline the ordering and setup process to ensure correct and efficient execution, minimizing errors and resource consumption.
Implement structured troubleshooting to enable quick and effective resolution of integration-related issues.
Reduce reliance on specialized internal knowledge by automating common error corrections and providing clear troubleshooting guidelines.
Address root causes of recurring errors, ensuring long-term process improvements rather than reactive fixes.
Enhance customer and employee satisfaction by reducing delays, errors, and manual workload.
The goal is to automate large parts of the process while maintaining control over critical decision points and ensuring that troubleshooting follows a clear, predefined path.
Acceptance Criteria / Definition of Done
Controlled Ordering & Creation Process
A standardized request and approval system is in place for ordering integration solutions.
At least 80% of the setup process is automated, with manual intervention limited to approvals and exceptions.
Clear roles and responsibilities are defined for all stakeholders involved in the process.
