Scanning in Ahlsell App

Technical discussions on APIs, endpoints etc. is underway. No date set when technical implementations will start.

It’s been deciced that we continue with Retail Only who will be responisble for back-end and the app team for front end. A focused Discovery work has just been kicked off, including user research (evaluation of existing Ahlsell Scanning app, Ahlsell app,), followed by design proposals. Coordination between PO/UX-team and architects needs to be done. A road map will be presented when we have more information.

Utforska vägval och teknik för att möjliggöra Scanning i Ahlsell appen onsite i butik. Som ett komplement till SnD handheld scanners.

Med målbilden att kunden skall ha Ahlsell APPen som primära APPen vid skanning om kunden väljer att köra i mobilen när man är i butik.

Bör utredas vilken del av tekniken som kan återanvändas från SnD mobile appen/RetailOnly, och vilken teknik som redan finns på plats i ahlsell Appen. I detta nu saknas möjlighet till avsluta köp i butik. Skanning fungerar fint i Ahlsell Appen och i butik.

När skanningen är etablerad och fungerar i Ahlsell Appen, kan SnD mobil appen leva parallellt över tid med code-freeze och därefter utfasning på nordisk nivå.
