New Product Search in Vivaldi

A new Product Search has just been built in the AOM standard product and is based on the same indexed database as in AA01- Product search.

The new search is allot faster than the current one that you access from normal routines in Vivaldi and it is possible to search on keywords depending on what is decided to have indexed in the database. For example the suppliers article number. The Product Search is then accessible from all routines where an article number field exist.

To get this functionality we need to do a new lift to the latest standard version.

Pilot period 8/1-22/1 2025

A pilot of the new search i held between January 8 to January 22.
In the pilot we have users from all Nordic Countries and different segments. The users was asked to use the new product search in Vivaldi in their daily work instead of how they usually search for products otherwise.

Purpose of the Pilot:

• Gather input on user experience

• Identify any unclear or missing elements

• Understand search behavior and search results

During the pilot we got great feedback and findings from the participants that we now continue to work with. The goal is to roll out the new search to all users in connection with the Mars release.
